Pay part-time lecturers for the hours they really taught
In many universities, part-time lecturers are paid by the hour and the count is still done on paper at the end of the semester. HAWA calculates each payslip from badge times on the terminal, multiplied by the rate set for the course, the level and the semester.
Know which courses are behind before exams
Every course has a volume, for example 40 hours. Each session delivered is deducted automatically, so heads of department see which courses are late while there is still time to schedule catch-up sessions.
One timetable for every faculty and campus
Rooms, lecture halls, lecturers and student groups are checked for overlaps across all buildings. A conflict is refused the moment it is created, not discovered on the first day of term.
